One day in 1632 a magical moment of history was about to be created, it was a brisk windy day with a gentle flow of the Bosphorus Strait a young intelligent man who was named Hezarfen Ahmet Çelebi stood gazing at a tower, a historical tower that had been constructed 1100 years ago and was the tallest tower of Istanbul - The Galata Tower. 

While he was looking at the Galata Tower, he was dreaming, his dream was to fly like birds. Every day his feelings towards his dream would get stronger and then a few months later the answer to his dreams came to him " Wings" that was the moment he knew he needed wings to help him achieve his dreams.

Charged with his eagle wings and his desire to fly like the sea-birds and view the amazing sites of Istanbul, he started to walk towards the steps of the tower. Amongst hundreds of people watching him was one very important person that was closely observing him from the Sinan Pasha mansion at Sarayburnu was Sultan Murad Khan (Murad IV).

Once Hazerfan reached the top of the tower, he took his position and suddenly he took the leap and jumped the falling speed was fast and people started to scream "he is falling" and then in all his glory, his beautiful eagle wings opened and, "I'm flying" he cried, he flew gracefully over the Bosphorus taking in the amazing views of Istanbul and finally landed across the strait in Üsküdar, the magical flight had happened and the dream finally was a reality.
